Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy and simplify the measurement by measuring and automatically recording the grain size of pelletizing powder and successively the compressive destruction strength thereof with an automatically straight driven type constant speed compressor having a fine pressure measuring device. CONSTITUTION:A fine pelletizing powder 15 is placed on a fine pressure measuring device 7 with a vacuum suction conveying device 2 with a suction tube 2a while monitoring it with a monitoring device 1. A pressure rod 13a of a straight driven type constant speed compressor 5 is separated by a set distance L from the fine pressure measuring device 7 and with the start of driving, a drive operation section 5a lowers the pressure rod 13a at a fixed rate. The pressure rod 13a strokes by L1 and just detects the load on a pelletizing powder 15 with the tip thereof contacting the powder 15. At this point, the diameter of the pelletizing powder is measured. Then, additional load is applied and the compressive destruction strength of the powder is measured with the load decreases sharply. Changes in the load is recorded on a recorder 10 thereby enabling the improving of the measuring accuracy and simplifying of the measurement.
