Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure moisture content accurately, by scattering a raw material stuck on a detection part of moisture content which is inserted into the raw material by giving a strong shock. CONSTITUTION:A moisture content detecting part 9 is advanced and is inserted into a raw material 2 from an insertion hole 23 of the side wall of a metering part 3 by sliding action of the inner piston with an operated fluid cylinder 7 through an arm 8 and the moisture content of the material 2 is measured by measuring electrostatic capacities of electrodes 10, 11. After finishing said measurement, the part 9 is drawn out from the material 2 and is retured to the original place by operating the cylinder 7. Next, a reciprocating apparatus 5 driven by fluid pressure is moved from a position of solid line to that of dotted line against the elastic force of a spring 12 by driving a motor 13 and rotating a cam 17. Moreover when advancing the rotation of the cam 17, the apparatus 5 is returned to the position of solid line by restoring force of the spring 12. At this time, a hammer 22 strikes a hammer stand 21 and a strong shock is given to the part 9 and then, the material 2 stuck on each electrode 10, 11 of the part 9 is scattered and moreover, preparation is made for the next for the next measurement.
