Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve anticorrosion of a pipe body and to extend its life-time by a method wherein the pipe body is made up of a clad material of an outside core material of Al-alloy and an inside skin material of the same alloy and the inside skin material is made electrochemically baser than the outside core material.
CONSTITUTION: The pipe body is made of a clad material which is composed of the outside core material of Al-alloy consisting of Mn: 0.2W1.5wt%, Zn: 0.1W 0.5wt%, if necessary Cu: 0.02W0.2wt% and Al containing unavoidable impurities for the rest and the inside skin material of Al-alloy consisting of Zn: 0.2W1.5wt%, if necessary Mg: 0.1W2.5wt% and Al containing unavoidable impurities for the rest. The inside skin material is made to be electrochemically baser than the outside core material. The heat exchanger is so manufactured that the fin material is soldered on the pipe body.
