Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and to produce the high output with high efficiency, by increasing the anode split number to increase the anode diameter while electrically coupling a cavity having high Q with inner cavity having low Q thereby increasing Q of entire cavity. CONSTITUTION:A cathode 1 and a concentrical anode tube 8 are arranged while a plurality of anode chips 3 are arranged on the inner face of the anode tube 8, where the inner cavity formed by the anode chip 3 and the anode tube 8 is electrically coupled with the outer cavity. While an output antenna 7 is coupled with two anode chips 3 having different potential and to supply high frequency current as the occurrence of the oscillation. When the current flows through said output antenna a magnetic field will occur around the antenna beam, then said magnetic field is coupled to a cylindrical waveguide formed by a cylindrical section 20 surrounded by magnetic pole pieces 6, where the microwave power will transmit in the cylindrical section 20 and coupled with a coupling waveguide 15. Consequently the high output can be produced with high efficiency resulting in high reliability.
