Abstract

PURPOSE:To display an alarm signal from the outside even when a diagnostic key is not pressed again forgetfully so as to reset a diagnostic mode or pressed unconsciously by resetting the diagnostic mode at a certain time after the diagnostic key is pressed. CONSTITUTION:When the diagnostic key 34 is pressed, a diagnostic start circuit 35 sets a control circuit 33 in the diagnostic mode and also starts a timer 36. Then when the timer 36 outputs a diagnostic mode reset signal the preset time later, the diagnostic start circuit 35 resets the diagnostic mode of the control circuit 33 and the maintenance warning display device 3 gets ready to receive the alarm signal from an exchange 1.
