Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently construct the piles of a powdery granule material under the ground by a method in which a powdery granular material is charged through the tip of a hollow pipe penetrated into the ground by means of a compressed air in such a way as to raise the efficiency of compressed air. CONSTITUTION:A given amount of a powdery granular material is charged into a hollow pipe 1 from a hopper 3, and then an air-impermeable material 8 is likewise charged from an inlet 4 to form alternately the layer of the powdery granular material 7 and the layer of the air impermeable material 8. While supplying directly compressed air from the inlet 5' of an air supply pipe 5 into the lower end of the hollow pipe 1, the hollow pipe 1 is drawn out and the powdery granular material 7 is discharged into the ground 6. Since the compressed air can not escape toward the upper part of the pipe through the powdery granular material 7 inside the hollow pipe 7 because of the presence of the air impermeable material 8, nearly all of the compressed air supplied makes contribution to the discharge of the powdery granular material 7 inside the holow pipe 1 into the ground 6. Thus, piles can be constructed with high efficiency.
