Abstract
PURPOSE: To shorten the construction time of a sand pile construction work by supplying sand in parallel with the drawing work of a hollow pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow pipe 2 is driven underground by a vibro hammer 1. And, sand and water are supplied into a hopper, and the sand slurry is supplied through a slurry supply pipe 12 into the uppermost part of the hollow pipe 2 by means of a pump 15. In order to promote the deposition of sand in the sand slurry, the water of the slurry is drawn out through a water drawing pipe 9 by a pump 13 and then dropped into a hopper 11. At a time when the sand 3 is detected by a lower sand pressure detector 5, the supply of the slurry and the drawing of the hollow pipe 2 are concurrently started. In case where the drawing rate of the hollow pipe 2 is faster than the supplying rate of sand, the drawing rate of the pipe 2 is adjusted because the deposition of sand 3 is not detected by the detector 5. Also, in case where the drawing rate of the pipe 2 is too slow, the drawing rate of the pipe 2 is also adjusted because the deposition of the sand 3 is detected by the upper sand pressure detector 7.
