Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the fuel consumption by an air-conditioning equipment enabling indoor-air and out door-air induction wherein only the necessary and minimum amount of outdoor air is automatically induced into a vehicle for maintaining the necessary and sufficient indoor pleasant condition, and the same time for reduction of thermal load. CONSTITUTION:On a key switch 21 turned on, a control circuit 19 becomes ''on'' and same time a lamp 183 is lit at a light-diffusion type particle detector 18 equipped in a room air draught input pipe. Next, the air conditioner is operated, then if amount of particles like cigarette smoke and so on included in the vehicle room air is less than the first set value, a relay 193 is energized through a comparator 192 at the first switching circuit 19A connected to a light detector 183 so that an actuator 20 drives to open an in-and-out door air switching damper 3 toward lower level flow direction, resulting to induce a slight air flow into indoor from outdoor. Another way, however, when the amount of particles increases from smoking and the like, a relay 195 is energized at the 2nd switching circuit 19B, so that the switching damper 3 is moved toward higher level flow direction.
