Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a superior insulating soft magnetic plate by insulating a soft magnetic core with a substance having small contraction in volume in sodification and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 10X10<-6> or less or by molding the core in a shield case. CONSTITUTION:When a soft magnetic core of soft magnetic alloy consisting of a substance having small contraction in volume in solidification and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 10X10<-6> or less is molded in a shield case after stacking an insulator, an insulating soft magnetic plate which can maintain the initial superior magnetic characteristics is permitted to obtain by reducing compressive stress acting to the above core at normal temperature. For example, a mixed solution consisting mixtures of one or two kinds or more of insulating oxides as a principal compound is applied to a thin alloy plate of Ni-Fe group to compose as an insulating core and the core is fixed by solidifying at high temperatures. In this way, a superior magnetic head having a small reduction in magnetic permeability and widening an operating frequency region will be obtained.
