Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the negative temperature coefficient in the high frequency ferrite over an entire using humidity range by substituting a part of Fe2O3 of Ni-Co ferrite for Al2O3. CONSTITUTION:A part of Fe2O3 of Ni-Co ferrite is substituted for Al2O3 to increase the negative temperature coefficient thereof. It can be expressed as chemical formula by NixCoy (Fe1-alphaAlalpha)2O4, where 0.8<=x<=1.2, 0.01<=y<=0.03, 1.8<=z<=2.2, x+y+z=3, 0<alpha<=0.4. It is also effective for ferrite containing Bi2O3, SiO2 in a predetermined range. This ferrite is useful for the core of a magnetic core coil used for a high frequency communication circuit, has negative temperature coefficient over the entire using temperature range and can ideally compensate the temperature of the entire circuit.
