Abstract
919,176. Valve oscillator circuits. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. July 22, 1960 [July 24, 1959], No. 25626/60. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (6). [Also in Groups XXXV and XL (b)] A resonant circuit for an oscillator comprises an inductor (see Group XXXV) whose inductance varies with temperature in such a way as to compensate for the temperature variation of the associated capacitor. The inductor has a ferrite core whose coefficient of permeability is positive and constant between - 40‹ C. and +100‹ C., and is associated with a capacitor having a dielectric with a constant negative coefficient of permittivity, e.g. polystyrol.
