Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide titled magnetic material having Curie temperature higher than 250°C and the minimum power loss value with a high temperature range which is so high that such characteristics have been considered unattainable by using ferrite sintered body contg. specific composition such as MnO2, ZnO, NiO, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A ferrite sintered body contains a basic composition consisting of 13W50mol% MnO, 0W20mol% ZnO (not including 0), 0W26mol% (not including 0) at least one of NiO, MgO and LiO; 45mol% or more the remaining Fe2O3. This is used to form an oxide magnetic material for high temperature range use and low electric power loss, characterized by the minimum value of the power loss at >150°C and Curie temperature at >150°C. The material allows production of temperature sensitive ferrite for use at temperatures higher than 250°C which exceeds the available temperature range available of conventional market product.
