Abstract

PURPOSE:To halve the number of contacts and to increase the balance of data sensing system, by the layout of a part of digit line in crossing. CONSTITUTION:Digit line pairs D1,D1' are arranged via the line D2, line pairs D2, D2' are arranged via the line D1', and lines D1, D2 are coupled to the sense amplifiers SA1, SA2 in crossing. As a result, the layout of all the cells C goes toward the same direction in digit line unit, and no unbalancing is caused to the digit line pair even with mismatching.
