Abstract
PURPOSE: To impregnate metallic sulfides into the walls and micropores of a porous anodically oxidized coating by half-sealing said film then subjecting the same to the secondary electrolyzing treatment in an aqueous soln. consisting essentially of metallic salts of thio acid.
CONSTITUTION: Aluminum or its alloy is anodized to form an anodically oxidized coating. This porous anodically oxidized coating is immersed into boiling or heated desalted water or further nickel acetate, dichromic acid, etc. are added into this desalted water and said film is immersed therein, whereby it is half-sealed. Thence, it is subjected to the secondary electrolyzing treatment in the electrolyte dissolved with 1≥ kinds of ammonium salts, alkali metallic salts, and alkaline earth metallic salts of thio acids such as thiomolybdic acid, thiotungstic acid, thiostannic acid, thioantimonic acid, thiocupric acid, thioauric acid, thioplatinic acid, thioniobic acid, and thiovanadic acid, whereby metallic sulfides are formed and are deposited in the micropores of the anodically oxidized coating.
