Abstract
PURPOSE: To considerably improve the lubricity of an anodized film by subjecting the anodized film of aluminum having undergone anodizing treatment to opening treatment thence subjecting the same to secondary electrolysis treatment in a thio acid salt soln. of metals.
CONSTITUTION: Aluminum or alumimum alloy is electrolyzed by using an acidic electrolytic bath or alkaline electrolytic bath, whereby a porous alumite film is formed. Thence, it is subjected to opening treatment by such a method as that of immersing the same in an aqueous alkaline material soln., whereby the volume of micropores is expanded. Next, if necessary, it is subjected to pretreatment with an inorg. acid etc., after which it is subjected to secondary electrolysis treatment in an electrolytic bath consisting essentially of thio acid salt of metals. For example, salts of thiomolybdic acid, thiotungstic acid, thiostannic acid, etc. are used for the bath composition. The electrolytic bath is controlled to about 4W12pH, and it is preferably to use desalted water for the water to be used for prepartion of the bath. It is necessary that the current waveform at the electrolyzing is made plus.
