Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the filling density of a spiral type liquid separation membrane by using a membranous liquid permeable material capable of being deformed by liquid pressure by practically omitting materials to hinder the increase of the filling density of the membrane.
CONSTITUTION: As membrane directly facing a semipermeable membrane 6, a semipremeable 6' and/or path material 5 to show an elastic and/or plastic deformation such as to produce apertures of 20W500μ preferably is used and wound around a hollow pipe 4. And, the spirally shaped one end of the semipermeably and/or path material is closed, and the other end is connected to the hole of the hollow pipe. A raw liquid supplied flows along the surface of the membrane from a raw liquid path material 7, and the permeated liquid passes through the semipermeable membranes 6 and 6', flows in the fluid path material 5, and goes out of the central pipe 4.
