Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an assembly which has no dead space and is large in the flow rate of permeation and separation efficiency by crossing hollow fibers having opening faces at end parts thereby forming a cylindrical layer.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow fiber cylindrical layer 1 is crossed and laminated with tape-like hollow fiber bundles arranged with hollow fibers mutually in parallel and flatly. Plural pieces of fitting cylindrical members 3 which are spaced from each other are disposed in the cavity part 2 formed therein. One end of the hollow fibers penetrate through a resin wall 4 and opened on the outer side of the wall 4 in the spaceless state, and the other end part is fixed to the inside of a resin wall 5. The spaces of the end parts 4, 5 are regulated the spaces by elastic supporting members 7. The fluid to be treated is suppled through a pipe 8 penetrating through the wall 5, and passes through the hollow fiber layer 1. The fluid permeated through the hollow fibers is recovered through the outer opening of the wall 4.
