Abstract

PURPOSE: To uniformly soldify the whole of soil layer of soft ground by a method in which a grout of bad permeability, whose gelling time is within a specific period of time is first injected into the ground, and then another grout of a good permeability is injected into the ground.
CONSTITUTION: Plural grouts having different permeabilities are injected into the ground through a multiple injection tube. In this case, plural grout injection ports are placed at places of different depths in the direction of injection, a quick setting grout whose gelling time is within 30sec is first injected into the ground to form a seal having a packing effect in space or weak portion around the injection tube. Then, another grout of a better permeability is injected in an overlapping menner into the quick setting grout-injected region through an injection pipe positioned at a depth different from the previous injection port. The grout of better permeability can penetrate into the places other than the quick setting grout-injected ground without escaping to the ground's surface; that is, the grout penetrates into places where the grout of bad permeability could not penetrate. Such a process is repeated and the whole of the ground can be completely stabilized.
