Abstract

PURPOSE: To uniformly and strongly solidify a soft ground by injecting a grout of bad permeability and a grout of better permeability in an overlapping manner into the soft ground while changing injection stage by moving a multiple tube.
CONSTITUTION: A grout of bad permeability, whose gelling time is within 30sec, is first injected into the ground from one-side injection port of a multiple tube whose injection ports are positioned at different places in the axial direction in order to form a solidified seal having a packing effect in and around space between the multiple tube and the ground. Then, a grout of better permeability is injected in an overlapping manner into a given injection area from the other injection port of the multiple tube in order to overlap it on the previously formed solidified seal area injected with the grout of bad permeability. Thus, a solidifed packer is formed in the upper layer of soil by a quick setting grout from the upper injection port and therefore, the grout of a long gelling time can penetrate into a given depth and solidity without escaping to the upper portion.
