Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the overvoltage of a control terminal, by connecting the control terminal to the constant voltage source through a FET which turns on or off with the amplitude of applied voltage. CONSTITUTION:FETs Q2, Q3 are connected in series, and memory write-in voltage Vp is fed to the drain of FETQ2, and the source of FETQ3 is grounded. By respectively connecting the gate of FETs Q2 and Q3 to the drain, a voltage in response to the gm ratio of FETs Q2, Q3 can be obtained at the node N1. When the voltage at the control terminal T exceeds the threshold voltage VTH of FETQ1 and the voltage of the node N1, FETQ1 is conductive, the voltage at the terminal T is fixed to the voltage conducting FETQ1 and the overvoltage can be suppressed.
