Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter easily at low cost by forming an electrostatic pattern on an electrophotographic photoreceptor, having a photoconductive layer holder and color layer, by electrophotography and then by developing the photoreceptor with light-shielding toner. CONSTITUTION:The surface of insulating layer 3 of the electrophotographic photoreceptor consisting of insulating layer 3 made with polyester resin, etc., photoconductive layer 1 made of a material such as anthracene, holder 2 of glass, etc., and color layer 4 containing dispersed coloring matter is given charge 5 and the color pattern that corresponds to a color filter to be formed is exposed via color layer 4. Consequently, the surface potential of insulating layer 3 where light reaches photoconductive layer 1 is weakened and electrostatic pattern 9 that corresponds to the color pattern is formed. Next, toner pattern 10 is formed by development with light- shielding toner and the aimed color filter is obtained.
