Abstract
PURPOSE:To make suitable for high load by composing the base section of anode surrounding a target member substantially with copper of single crystal structure. CONSTITUTION:A target member 28 of predetermined material such as tungsten and a copper member 29 are provided in a tubular member 21 to be heated. Then said tubular member 21 is placed in circle in a vacuum container 14. At a portion of inner space of said tubular member 21, a recess such as tapered edge section 30 is formed. The copper member 29 is thermally fused under reductive gas environment of reduced pressure then gradually cooled with temperature falling rate lower than 5 deg.C/min in the temperature region for solidifying and crystalizing the fused copper material to manufacture the anode for X-ray tube.
