Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent thermal deformation of the subject pipe by filling a low-temperature-melting alloy in a gap between the inside of the hole of the main body of an axis and the outside of a heat pipe in the subject axis with the heat pipe built in the main body of the axis.
CONSTITUTION: A low-temperature-melted alloy 11 is filled in a gap formed by the inside of the hole 5 of the main body 4 of an axis and the outside of a heat pipe 6. Between the inside of the hole 5 and the heat pipe 6 is placed a spacer 12, while between the heat pipe 6 and a cap 7 being placed a buffer material 13. A material whose melting point is, for instance, 70W100°C is used as the alloy 11, and by using such material as having almost the same thermal conductivity with that of the main body 4 of the axis, the thermal resistance from the main body 4 toward the heat pipe 6 is made to be almost equal, even when the heat pipe is built eccentrically in the main body 4 of the axis. Accordingly, even when the heat pipe is eccentric in the main body of the axis, the thermal resistance in the direction of diameter becomes uniform, and thereby the difference in the distribution of temperature in the circumferential direction is eliminated and the deformation of the pipe due to the difference in the thermal expansions of the two can be prevented.
