Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the breakage of a heat accumulating vessel utilizing a latent heat of a heat accumulating medium, by a method wherein an insertion substance, which has a cavity which tends to deform due to pressure, is made of a high-molecule material, and is mounted in a heat accumulating vessel.
CONSTITUTION: An inserting substance 3, which has a cavity being susceptible to deform due to pressure, is made of a high-molecule material, such as silicon, or a high-molecule material mixed with metal powder, metal fibers. The insertion substance 3 is sealed in a capsuleform heat accumulating vessel 1, and a heat medium 4 is placed between the outer circumference of the insertion substance and the vessel. This constitution absorbs a pressure through the deformation of the cavity insertion substance 3 even if the inside of the vessel 1 is increased in the pressure. As a result, the breakage of the vessel 1 can be prevented.
