Abstract
PURPOSE: To generate electric power efficiently by giving wave motions directly to a gear mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of the first intermediate gears 4 and 4' are engaged with a float-supporting shaft gear 3 connected to an arm of a float 1, and respectively and coaxially connected to one-way clutches 9 and 9' and a pair of the second intermediate gears 5 and 5' mutually engaged, while either shaft of the second intermediate gears 5 and 5' is connected to a generator 12 via a planetary gear type multiplying device 10 and a flywheel 11. In this construction, without reference to going up or down of the float 1 by waves, driving power is transmitted to the planetary gear multiplying device 10 via the first intermediate gears 4 and 4' and the second intermediate gears 5 and 5' by operations of one-way clutches 9 and 9', and the generator 12 can be driven continuously.
