PURPOSE:To improve a cooling efficiency by a method wherein an outer winding is divided into a plurality of layers and they are piled up with a specified clearance therebetween and the coolant is injected to each of the coils from the injection means arranged outside the outer coil. CONSTITUTION:Each of the layers in the outer winding 3 is cooled by the coolant 8 injected from the first hole 6 in the injection means 5, and the inner winding 2 is cooled by the coolant 8 discharged from the second hole 7. The coolant 8 atomized under a cooling operation is liquified by a condensor and returned to the injection means 5.
