Abstract

PURPOSE:To attempt to improve the noise and durability of the engine without affording loss to the consumption of fuel and exhaustion function by detecting the variation factor of the combustion pressure and feedback controlling the ignition period on the basis of the variation factor of the combustion pressure thus detected. CONSTITUTION:A rotational speed detector 12 generates an output whose voltage value increases in accordance with the increase in the rotational speed of the engine, and a differentiator 13 generates an output value corresponding to the variation factor of a combustion pressure. The output value of the differentiator 13 is compared with the output of the rotational speed detector 12 as a reference in a comparator 14, whereby the variation in the combustion pressure is constantly detected under the same conditions. On the basis of the variation factor of the combustion pressure thus obtained, the ignition period is regulated in timing in a range where the pressure increasing ratio does not become more than a predetermined value by means of a timing control circuit 16.
