Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting and dismounting of a current transformer by incorporating a gas-sealing function in the transformer itself and thereby simplifying the transformer mounting part with small size. CONSTITUTION:Metallic containers 10, 11 have flanges 101, 111, respectively, and contain a conductor 4 together with insulating gas therein. The current transformer 6 is interposed between the flanges 101 and 111 with a groove 61 incorporating an O-ring 8. The O-ring groove 61 may also be formed at the flanges 101 and 111 side. Thus, the inner and outer diameters of the transformer 6 are reduced, the transformer 6 can be externally confirmed, the mounting and dismounting of the transformer 6 can be facilitated, the heat dissipation of the transformer mounting part is increased with less heat generation thereat.
