Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the cross-sectional area of the current lead and thus to ensure the assured supply of the current to the superconductive magnet by covering part of the outer circumference of the current lead and then providing the storage container of the current lead which forms the current path of the 2nd refrigerant flowing to the outside from the heat insulator container. CONSTITUTION:High-temperature side terminal 8 connected to the power source and low-temperature side terminal 10 connected to superconductive magnet 20 within the heat insulator container are provided, along with current lead 2 containing hollow part 12 which functions as the current path of the 1st refrigerant flowing to the outside from the heat insulator container plus storage container 4 of the currnet lead which forms current path 14 of the 2nd refrigerant flowing to outside from the heat insulator container and covering part of lead 2. As a result, the cross- sectional area of lead 2 can be reduced, at the same time ensuring the assured supply of the current to magnet 20.
