Abstract
PURPOSE: To repair the whole repairing locations of a furnace wall of DH furnace, a RH furnace, etc. rapidly and easily by a method wherein a shooting pipe is vertically provided at an eccentric location of a turntable on a travellihg truck in a vertical ejecting device for repairing the furnace wall.
CONSTITUTION: The vertical ejecting device is provided with an ejection port 2 at its nose, and vertically holds the shooting pipe 1 for feeding in an ejecting material into which ejection raw material and cooling water are mixed. The shooting pipe 1 is vertically mounted at a location eccentric only by necessary distance from a rotary center axis of a turntable 35 on a travelling truck 39. Thus, when repairing an inwall surface of a reaction furnace 49, etc., the shooting pipe 1 and an axial center of a suction pipe 51 are conformed, the pipe is lengthened into the reaction furnace 49, and the ejecting material is ejected onto the wall surface to be repaired. Meanwhile, when repairing an outer wall circumferential surface of the suction pipe 51, a pivotal shaft 36 of the turntable 35 and the axial center of the suction pipe 51 are conformed, and the turntable 35 is turned, thus uniformly ejecting refractories onto the outer wall surface of the suction pipe 51 from the ejection port 2.
