Abstract
PURPOSE: To conform an axial center of a shooting pipe and an axial center of a suction pipe rapidly by a method wherein a shifting mechanism for horizontally moving the shooting pipe is provided onto a turntable on a travelling truck in a vertical ejecting device for repairing a furnace wall of a DH furnace, a RH furnace, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A vertical ejecting device is provided with an ejection port 2 at its nose, and vertically holds the shooting pipe 1 for feeding in an ejecting material in to which ejection raw material and cooling water are mixed. The shooting pipe 1 is vertically mounted onto a turntable 35 turning-free on a travelling truck 39 so as to move only by necessary distance horizontally. A pipe shifting mechanism for the horizontal movement consists of a truck 14 and its driving cylinder 17. An axial center of the shooting pipe 1 and an axial center of a suction pipe 51 are conformed in the longitudinal direction by driving the travelling truck 39. They agree approximately in the lateral direction at that time. The ejection port 2 is minutely adjusted in the lateral direction by means of the driving cylinder 17 in order to oppose the ejection port accurately to an inwall of a reaction furnace 49.
