Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform stable frequency modulation with a simple circuit constitution, by forming the AFC loop which always holds the ratio between mutually different two frequencies at a constant ratio.
CONSTITUTION: The first circuit 18 obtaining the output voltage V1 when the frequency of input signal is 3.5 fH, and the second circuit 20 obtaining the same output voltage V1 when 2fH are provided. The output signals of the circuits 18 and 20 are compared at the comparator 21, and the output signal is fed to the mixing circuit 23 via LPF 22, where the modulation signal is added, and the frequency of the variable frequency oscillator 19 is controlled with the added signal. With this constitution, the variation in the time axis is removed with PLL 13 and the AFC loop of oscillator 19-circuit 20-comparator 21-LPF22-circuit 23-oscillator 19 is formed. Further, this AFC loop is controlled that the frequency of the oscillator 19 is 2 fH with the signal from the circuit 18.
