Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable one time of ignition by a multipolar flywheel magneto through a self-controlled transistor ignition circuit at every rotation, by applying an intermittently produced voltage from a trigger coil to a transistor control circuit through a coupler. CONSTITUTION:Magnets 3 having four poles, for example, are provided on the inside surface of a bowl-shaped body 1 or iron so that a multipolar flywheel is formed. Arc-shaped steps 4 are provided on the pole iron pirces 5 of the magnets 3 except for one magnet. A core F2 for a trigger coil Tc is provided so that it faces an arc- shaped step 4 across a small gap g2. A voltage intermittently produced by the trigger coil Tc is applied to a transistor control circuit through a photocoupler Pc or the like. The transistor control circuit regulates the opening and closing of a combined connection transistor circuit Q for the primary winding T1 of an ignition coil T. As a result, the primary current of the ignition coil T is cut off by the voltage of the trigger coil Tc once per rotation so that one time of ignition can be effected at every rotation.
