CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent lamp having a fluorescent layer composed of a mixture of (A)3W40wt% of a blue fluorescent material comprising calcium chloroborate activated with bivalent Eu of the formula I (0.001≤x≤0.5,), (B)20W 50wt% of one or more green fluorescent materials such as zinc silicate activatedwith Mn (Zn2SiO4:Mn), yttrium silicate activated with Tb (Y2SiO5:Tb), and yttrium silicate activated with Ce and Tb (Y2SiO5:Ce, Tb), and (C)10W70wt% of one or more red phosphorescent materials such as a rare earth metal oxide activated with Eu of formula II (Ln is Y, Gd, etc.), a rare earth metal oxysulfide activated with Eu of formula III, etc.
