Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having sufficiently high color rendering characteristics and excellent luminous efficiency, by mixing four kinds of specific flourescent materials such as Eu-doped strontium haloapatite fluorescent material, Sb- and Mn-doped calcium halophosphate fluorescent materials, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective fluorescent composition is prepared by mixing (A) an Eu-doped strontium haloapatite fluorescent material of formula I or formula II, (B) Sb- and Mn-doped calcium halophosphate fluorescent material of formula III or formula IV, (C) cerium terbium magnesium aluminate fluorescent material of formula V or formula VI, and (D) an Eu-doped yttrium oxide fluorescent material of formula VII. The amounts of the components (A), (B), (C), and (D) are pref. 5W35wt%, 5W60wt%, 5W50wt% and 10W40wt%, respectively.
