Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise manufacturing efficiency and accuracy by the procedure in which an electrode material is layed on a separator film and then stamped out into a fixed shape to form separator and cell. CONSTITUTION:The silver oxide-based anode mixture 3a formed integrally with the separator film 3b is housed in the anodic can 4a of the cell case 4, an electrolyte is impregnated into the film 3b, and then the sealing part 4b charged with the cathode material 3c is provided on the film 3b and sealed through the sealing insulated gasket 4c to form a flat-type cell. On the film 3b of a porous polypropylene film, for example, as a separator, the mixture 3a is layered in a fixed thickness, rolled by rolls, etc., and then stamped out with the film 3b into a fixed shape by a punching mold to obtain power-generating elements with separators.
