Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce photo fatigue caused by continuous use of photoreceptor and prevent drop of image contrast and ground soiling, by providing an intermediate layer of Se-Te compound between supporting body and Se-As photosensitive layer.
CONSTITUTION: Se-Te layer containing Te by 0.1W20wt% is provided on a supporting body of Al or the like, and a photosensitive layer 1 of Se-As containing As by 35W42wt% is formed in a thickness of about 1μ by vapor deposition or other method. The electrons trapped on the photosensitive layer 1 when exposing the image are neutralized by injecting holes + from Al substrate 2 in the next destaticizing process, so that the photo fatigue in the subsequent charging may be reduce. Thus preventing increase of dark decay and drop of charge potential, drop of image contrast may be prevented.
