Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the captioned photoreceptor for one-process two-color copying of less dark attenuation against primary charging in the repetitive two color processes by forming the specific first photoconductive layer, vapor deposition layer (intermediate layer) and second photoconductive layer in this order on a conductive substrate.
CONSTITUTION: The first photoconductive layer 12 of aobut 3 to 100μ in film thickness, a vapor deposition layer (intermediate layer) 13 of about 0.01W5μ in film thickness and the second photoconductive layer 14 of about 3W30μ in film thickness are formed on a conductive substrate 11, whereby the photoreceptor is formed. The first photoconductive layer is formed by the material which is sensitive to A- color light under positive charging and has sufficient potential holding ability for formation of the surface potentials of the photoreceptor for positive charging and the second photoconductive layer by the material which is sensitive to B-color light under negative charging and has sufficient potential holding ability for formamation of the surface potentials of the photoreceptor for negative corona charging. It is equally well to form the photoreceptor by reversing all of the abovementioned positive and negative simultaneously.
