Abstract
PURPOSE:To record a picture not disordered by an ink jet recording by setting the relative phase between ink particle producing timing and charging voltage applying timing and ink particle deflecting amount when colliding the ink injected from a nozzle on a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Charging and deflecting electrodes 7 and 9 are arranged between a recording paper 11 and a nozzle 5 through a filter 2 and a pump 3 from an ink tank 1. A pulsating current of predetermined frequency is applied from a clock pulse oscillator 14 through an excitation signal generator 15 and an amplifier 13 to the ultrasonic vibrator of the nozzle 5 to thereby produce ink particles, and charge is imparted to the ink particles by the electrode 7 connected to a charge signal generator 16, a phase setting circuit 19 and a charge controller 20, etc. Then, the charged ink particles are deflected by the electrode 9 connected to a deflecting voltage power supply circuit 12 to thereby record a picture not disordered on recording paper collided with the ink particles.
