Abstract

PURPOSE:To blow-mold a product having a toroidal substance at an optional position, by fitting two-split parts of a toroidal substance in a mold proper and by forming the toroidal substance by adhering together the two split parts at the same time when inflating a parison. CONSTITUTION:A half ring-shaped two-split part 5 is fitted in a half ring-shaped concave portion 3 made in an internal surface of a cavity of a two-split mold proper 1, the two split molds being locating facing and being opposite to each other. A cylindrical melted parison is then hung down to a position where a nozzle 8 is wrapped in a lower end of the parison. Afterwards, at the same time when the parison is covered by coupling together the two-split molds proper 1, the edges of the two split parts 5 are joined together. A compressed air is then fed through a blow-in hole 9 of the nozzle 8, the parison being inflated along the cavity 2. Simultaneously, a part of the parison enters round into a dove-tail groove 7 bored in a rib 6 formed at the inside of the two-split part 5, the two-split part 5 and parison being united monolithically. The mold proper 1 is then released after being cooled.
