Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of rotary material unbalance correction by changing weight mass in the course of rotation of a rotary material to detect vibration by a vibrometer and obtaining an unbalance correction position and a correction quantity from the vibration characteristic.
CONSTITUTION: Two or more balance weights 3 which can change mass by remote control in the course of rotation are fitted to the balance correction face of rotor 1. When the initial vibration value does not satisfy an allowable value, arbitrary gunpower 32 is ignited in the course of rotation of the rotor to break lead plate 33, and steel ball beads 34 are ejected by a centrifugal force to change mass of arbitrary weight 3. The weight influence coefficient in each correction face is calculated by computer 10 on a basis of change of vibration data dependent upon the operation above, and an optimum weight fitting correction face and its mass which can restrain vibration below a prescribed allowable value are calculated from this coefficient automatically. Thus, rotary material unbalance can be corrected efficiently.
