Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable balancing of a rotor to be completed in one shot without adding any trial weight or the like by using the influence coefficients obtained through computation program.
CONSTITUTION: The bearing vibration value when a trial weight is added to an ideal theoretical balance rotor is obtained by the response computation program which simulates the actual revolving motion of the rotor. Based on the shaft vibration value thus obtained, an influence coefficient is calculated and is beforehand stored in a memory device 21. Next, the axial vibrations of the rotor 26 to be measured in the state where no trial weight or the like is added are measured with detectors 22, 23. If in a factory, these are measured in one operation with a balancer. The data signal of these axial vibration values is sent to an electronic computer 24 where the value of necessary balance weight is calculated from said signal and the influence signal from the memory device 21, the results whereof are then displayed in a display device 25.
