Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the portable watch with a higher strength preventing infiltration of water by forming an outer shell of the portable watch case with a thin plate and pouring a metal meltable at a lower temperature than the outer shell thereinside for injection molding.
CONSTITUTION: An outer shell 1 0.05W1.0mm thick is formed with a stainless steel or the like by press forming. The outer shell thus formed is inserted into a mold loaded in an injection molding machine and then, metal such as brass, German silver, aluminium and zinc lower in the melting point is poured into the outer shell as melted to form an inner shell 2 integral with the outer shell 1. This can prevents the infiltration of water and improve the strength thereby miniaturizing the watch.
