Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain a suitable operation irrespective of the number of indoor units under operation in the case, for example, of heating the room air, by the consititution of the system wherein the high pressure is lowered down to that of the normal operation while the output temperature is reduced under the condition when the number of units in operation is minimum.
CONSTITUTION: In an outdoor unit 1 a compressor 4, a four-way valve 5, an outdoor coil 6, a heating expansion valve 7 and a liquid receiver 8 are connected by pipes and a refrigerating cycle is composed. In this case a subsidary outdoor coil 9 is provided for the outdoor coil 6 separating from the circuit of the outdoor coil 6 and connected through a high pressure regulating valve 11 from a distributing pipe 10 which will change into high pressure side for heating air. The other end of the subsidiary outdoor coil 9 is connected with the liquid receiver 8 through a check valve 12. When the discharging temperature rises excessively by overload for air- conditioning, a bypass electromagnetic valve 18 is provided to detect the temperature with a thermosensor 18' and a high pressure liquid in the liquid receiver 8 is allowed to be reduced in pressure by a capillary tube and to be bypassed by an accumulator.
