Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate an increase in compression load of a compressor at air- conditioning by connecting a gas injection pipe and a refrigerant pipe by a by-pass valve equipped with a check valve.
CONSTITUTION: A gas injection pipe 9 is connected in the middle thereof to a refrigerant pipe at the low pressure side of a refrigerating cycle in air-conditioning by means of a by-pass pipe 10 provided halfway with a check valve 11 passing a refrigerant gas alone from the gas injection pipe 9 to the refrigerant pipe. At air- conditioning, refrigerant discharged from a compressor 1 by the switch motion of a four-sides switch valve 3 is condensed by radiation, and then being separated into a liquefied refrigerant and a gas refrigerant by means of a gas/liquid separator 6. The gas refrigerant is bypassed to the low pressure side of the refrigerating cycle through the gas injection pipe 9 and the by-pass pipe 10. Thus, the refrigerating power of the compressor 1 is lowered, and an increase in compression load of the compressor 1 is eliminated.
