Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect a broadcast wave in the best reception state automatically and rapidly on a broadcast system where the same broadcast contents are broadcasted by several broadcast waves, by selecting an address signal from a counter connected to a PLL synthesizer part. CONSTITUTION:Frequency synthesizer part 1, switches SW1 and SW2 selecting broadcast channels with difference broadcast contents, and automatic detection swtich SW3 are provided. Further, read-only memories ROM1 and ROM2 stored with data signals corresponding to broadcast waves of the same contents corresponding to switches SW1 and SW2, and counters CNT1 and CNT2 are provided, and switches SW1 and SW2 are turned ON to generate an address signal by counter CNT1. Then, data signals are read out from ROM1 and ROM2 by this address signal and channel selection data is supplied to programmable device PD of synthesizer part 1. To select a channel automatically by turning ON switch SW3, the address signal is generated by counters CNT2 and CNT1 to receive a broadcast wave in the best reception state.
