Abstract

PURPOSE: To recover substantially 100% of heat contained in exhaust gas by circulating a heat medium having a temperature lower than a condensing temperature of moisture in the exhaust gas and neutralizing condensed water.
CONSTITUTION: When a heat medium having low temperature is supplied from an inlet header 4, the medium is flown under effecting heat-exchange through a group of heat conducting tubes 2, a turning header 6, another group of heat conducting tubes 2 and an outlet header 5 sequentially, and the temperature thereof is raised gradually higher. On the other hand, a temperature of exhaust gas is lowered into a temperature a little bit higter than that of the heat medium, therefore, moisture in the exhaust gas is condensed on surfaces of fins 3 and the heat conducting tubes 2, thereafter, the condensed water is dropped into a receiving pan 8 and is flown through a seal pipe 9 into a neutralizing tank 10 wherein it is neutralized. When a level of water in the neutralizing tank 10 is arrived at a preset height, it is discharged through a discharging pipe 11 at one operation. Thus, substantially 100% of the heat is recovered while an acidity of the condensed water is lowered by condensing moisture in the exhaust gas positively, thereby, progress of corrosion in a heat recovering device may be prevented.
