Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent water scale from attaching on the working element and ensure a stable action by guiding the vertical movement of a switch actuating element, provided following the vertical movement of the float, through a switch support member having a switch thereon. CONSTITUTION:The upper end of the water tank 18 is provided with a L-shaped fixture 21, on the horizontal piece 21a of which a cylindrical shaft 22 is mounted with a nut 23. A lead switch 24 is provided at the lower end of the shaft 22, while a stopper ring 25 is fitted into the outer surrounding wall of the lower end to form a switch supporting member 26. A ring-shaped magnet 27 as a switch actuating element is formed to move the shaft 22 between the members 23 and 25. In addition, a plurality of connecting rods 28 are projected on the undersurface of the magnet 27 and a float 29 is provided at the lower end thereof to form a float switch 20. When the magnet 27 faces the lead switch 24 as the float 29 is displaced downward with the drop of the water level, the operation is halted.
