Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish economical level control with the use of a simple construction by attaching a plurality of magnets to a float at a spacing from one another so that the differences in the responses of lead switches may be used.
CONSTITUTION: When a liquid level a is located at its maximum, the lower end of a float 2 is located at an upper limit position CH, and a magnet b is located at the center of a lead switch 5. This switch 5 is turned off so that a pump 9 is stopped. When the liquid level a is lowered until the float 2 takes its lower limit position CL, the intermediate position of the switch 5 comes to that of the magnet so that the switch 5 is turned on to energize the pump 9. Even if the float 2 is slightly lifted, the lead switch 5 is not turned off due to the difference in response so that the liquid level is raised to its upper limit. Subsequently, the operations thus far described are repeated. Thus, the level control can be economically accomplished with the use of the simple construction.
