Abstract
789,044. Utilizing tidal energy. FALLA, R. R. Feb. 23, 1956 [Feb. 23, 1955], No. 5641/56. Class 69 (1). A pump utilizing the tidal energy of a body of liquid for pumping liquid therefrom comprises a pump body 11 and a support structure with columns 3 for vertically guiding a float 1, both fixed to the floor of the body of liquid, the float being linked to the pump piston 10 by a lever 6 connected at one end to a member 4 carried by the float and at the other to a fixed point 7.
